With tariff uncertainty as a background to the A/W 26/27 edition of Kingpins, the event focused on craft and its intersection with design innovation, making a case for exploring differentiation while reducing waste. The next show will be from October 15-16, 2025.
Stitched Lines
Take reference from classic tailored uniform looks with clearly defined, prominent structures.

Fibre and yarn: opt for recycled, regenerative and GOTS-certified cotton.
Colour and finish: vary colours from white to deep indigos, focusing on high contrast patterning.
Construction and weight: explore micro- to mid-scale patterns of regulated stripes, checkerboards, herringbones and dobbies. Weights range from 7-14oz
Comfort Fits
Continue engineered constructions, wellness, soft handles and stretch for comfort.

Fibre and yarn: source regenerative and GOTS-certified cotton, Tencel, GRS-certified polyester, T400 and recycled elastane. Ensure high recovery rates with stretch yarns.
Colour and finish: colours varying from light to deep indigos, with soft, washed handles.
Construction and weight: jersey constructions allow for natural stretch. For woven, look at classic and loose twill constructions.
Heritage Appeal
Develop deep indigos with lasting colour for a refined workwear look.

Fibre and yarn: look for GOTS-certified, regenerative and recycled cotton, blending with hemp and linen for dryer handles and Tencel for softness.
Colour and finish: create depth with dark indigo tones, using colour stability methods for lasting after washing. Finish bases with a natural, subtle sheen.
Construction and weight: develop high-contrast, precise structures of 3/1 and 2/1 twills. Opt for selvedge denim for small quantities and unique character. Weights range from 9-13oz.
